Christians need to send gifts but often find sites with undesirable product choices. Gift Basket of Blessings opened its online doors to alleviate the problem. Christian owners have set the standards high, carrying only Christian safe gift baskets and educating visitors about Jesus.
Owensboro, Ky. October 13, 2006 ~~ Gift Basket of Blessings opened with the purpose of creating a Christian safe gift basket shopping site and informing the visitors about the love of God. So, with very limited funding, owners Edward and Betty Evans began their quest. In March of 2004, the Evans began building their American dream, a place where their own child could stroll through the pages and not be tainted by the “worldly” views of what sales, a place with Christian values.
Betty, a work from home mom, was put in charge of the business while husband Edward worked outside the home. After purchasing web space, Betty began reading and implementing the information to create web pages full of gift basket choices, but that was just part of the greater plan.
Christian safe gift baskets are great but what about the customer who stumbles in and doesn’t know Jesus as their personal savior? The Evans insisted on a page dedicated to aiding that individual. This page gives information on how to get to know Jesus, plus links to other sites to help the visitor make their own choice.
A prayer request page is also in place. No request is too small and all requests are welcomed. Many of the visitors take advantage of this service, some with home churches and others who feel they have nowhere else to turn. The Evans personally respond to all request.
Gift Basket of Blessings welcomes all, no matter if visitors are looking to send a gift basket, looking for gift ideas, or searching for Jesus. The Evans know God has blessed them with this business and pray their work is blessing others.
